LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global mobility supplier DENSO Corp., has promoted Reggie Cruz to director of Corporate Planning and Manny Rodriguez to senior manager of Product Development. The changes support the company’s ongoing expansion to meet the growing demand for DENSO aftermarket automotive, commercial and industrial products and services, and its carbon-neutral initiatives.

Cruz has been with DENSO for more than 16 years and was senior manager of Product Development until his promotion to director of Corporate Planning. In the newly created position, Cruz is responsible for overseeing business and corporate planning, financial services, and new business strategy development. He is also tasked with establishing the long-term direction of the organization, which includes anticipating future trends and spearheading carbon-neutral business opportunities.

Rodriguez has been with DENSO more than 22 years and served as manager of Independent Aftermarket Product and Business Development prior to his promotion. As senior manager of Product Development, Rodriguez is responsible for collaborating with DENSO’s engineering, procurement and supply chain teams on product development; creating and developing marketing strategies for new and existing products; and tracking key performance indicators. His other duties include long-term and short-term product development planning.

Both Cruz and Rodriguez are based in the Long Beach headquarters of DENSO Products and Services Americas, and their promotions took effect in March. DENSO Products and Services Americas’ operations extend throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico and include DENSO’s VehicleMRI, PowerEdge, Robotics, Automatic Data Capture, MovinCool and EdgeCool units, in addition to its comprehensive line of superior auto parts.
