― New PowerEdge 28PE Alternator answers the call for quick and easy installation –
LONG BEACH, Calif. – PowerEdge, a brand of DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. specializing in competitively priced, high-quality commercial and heavy-duty replacement parts, has launched a new series of its trusted alternators for commercial vehicles and medium- and heavy-duty trucks. In addition to all the high-performance features the industry has come to rely on, the new 28PE alternator is engineered with a plug-in connection for faster, cleaner installation.
“The 28PE alternator delivers the solution our industry has been asking for,” said Andrew Shlatz, national sales manager of DENSO’s Heavy Duty Aftermarket products. “Quick, precise and effortless installation means trucks and other work vehicles are back in service faster than ever and fleet owners and operators can focus on delivering for their customers.”
Lightweight and compact, the 28PE model is a 12-volt alternator that produces 160 amps at road speed to meet and exceed the electrical demands of today’s Class 7 and Class 8 vehicles. Unlike standard alternators that require complex harness modifications, the design innovation eliminates the need for labor-intensive cutting and rewiring.
The 28PE alternator is available in both pad mount and J180 mount configurations, with part numbers for various models of Mack, Freightliner, Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks and some buses.
Advantages of the 28PE alternator include:
- Unmatched quality, reliability and durability at a high-value price point.
- Original equipment technology adapted for aftermarket replacement, with components and functionality tested under extreme conditions to ensure lasting parts and performance.
- Best-in-class air flow provided by dual internal fans to quickly lower temperatures under the hood under the harshest conditions.
- All units are 100% new with no core charge and backed by a one-year/unlimited miles warranty.
