LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading mobility supplier DENSO, has launched a new version of its MobiQ roadside unit (RSU) for advanced vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. The new RSU-5941 Kit delivers real-time wireless connectivity between vehicles, roadway infrastructure and traffic networks for the safer, more efficient movement of people and goods.

“DENSO’s MobiQ brand stands for mobility intelligence and quality,” said Hiroshi Yanone, Director of Connected Services at DENSO Products and Services Americas. “We are excited to introduce the latest version of our proven roadside technology that transportation agencies and system integrators rely on to protect people, vehicles and property.”

Available now, the RSU-5941 Kit is a high-performance, deployment-ready roadside unit that combines an advanced PCBA with a rugged enclosure and external antennas, delivering seamless integration with traffic signal controllers, electronic message boards and broader transportation infrastructure.

Core features include an embedded web interface, remote configuration management and diagnostic functions, and engineering that supports diverse interfaces. Applications include signal phase and timing (SPaT/MAP), freight and transit signal priority (FSP/TSP), and emergency vehicle preemption (EVP).
