― DENSO earns another honor from the industry-leading auto parts buyers' group ―

LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global mobility supplier DENSO Corp., has captured the 2026 Distinguished OE Partner Award given by Automotive Parts Associates (APA)/TruStar, Inc. The industry-leading aftermarket auto parts buyers’ group announced the honor during its 2026 Annual General Meeting held March 20-23 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Premium quality products and customer service drive everything we do at DENSO,” said David Arriaga, program manager of DENSO’s Aftermarket Sales, who accepted the award on DENSO’s behalf. “Our team understands the industry’s challenges and works diligently to deliver the parts and support our aftermarket partners need, when they need them.”

The Distinguished OE Partner Award recognizes the original equipment supplier that offers the best first-to-market coverage while also supporting the APA/TruStar’s initiatives. DENSO was recognized for going the extra mile to ensure the group got the replacement parts it needed, too.

The 2026 award is the latest in a series of honors APA/TruStar has awarded DENSO each of the last eight years. In 2025, DENSO earned the organization’s Supplier of the Year Award and Arriaga captured its inaugural Champion of the Year Award.

APA/TruStar announced the 2026 awards during the closing banquet of its annual conference. The organization is made up of independent auto parts distributors across North America and represents more than $500 million in annual purchasing power. APA acquired TruStar in 2022.

Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Collierville, Tennessee, APA/TruStar is one of the auto industry’s oldest program distribution groups operating as a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative. The organization’s membership includes more than 70 independent warehouse distributors with more than 300 locations and 400 retail stores. APA/TruStar announces its awards in conjunction with its shareholder and supplier conference held annually in March.
